All Points Broadband Named to Inc. 500

Leesburg, VA, August 21, 2018Inc. magazine has ranked All Points Broadband number 330 on its annual listing of America’s fastest-growing private companies. All Points was the fastest growing Internet service provider on the list and the second fastest growing company from the telecommunications industry.

“Being named to the Inc. 500 is a great honor and a testament to the great work of our dedicated employees, who are on the forefront of delivering connectivity to underserved communities. We love coming to work every day to do what we do, and are thrilled to be the fastest growing Internet service provider recognized by Inc.” said Jimmy Carr, All Points’ CEO. “With our recent expansion into Kentucky and development of fiber-to-the-home deployment capabilities, we are on the forefront of connecting the unconnected.”

“If your company is on the Inc. 5000, it’s unparalleled recognition of your years of hard work and sacrifice,” says Inc. editor in chief James Ledbetter. “The lines of business may come and go, or come and stay. What doesn’t change is the way entrepreneurs create and accelerate the forces that shape our lives.”

Shelby Broadband Joins All Points Broadband

All Points Broadband announced today that it has acquired Shelby Broadband, a wireless and fiber-optic Internet service provider serving customers in 15 counties throughout central Kentucky. All Points will maintain a regional office in Simpsonville, Kentucky, and plans to complete a comprehensive upgrade to the Shelby Broadband fixed wireless network over the coming months. Current customers will have access to more data, more speed and more reliable service.

All Points is working to ensure that the transition is as seamless as possible for customers and we appreciate your patience during this process. Next week, customers will receive an email from All Points’ support team with instructions for accessing the customer portal and managing their accounts. Residential customers will receive this email no later than next Friday, August 17th.

In the meantime, customers do not need to take any action and there will not be any changes to current service plans, monthly pricing, outstanding balance or payment method as of July 30. After the transition is complete, customers will have access to All Points’ 24/7 customer support team.

“We are excited to add Shelby Broadband and its customers to All Points’ growing network,” said Jimmy Carr, CEO of All Points Broadband. “This acquisition expands our service area into an entirely new part of the country and will serve as another platform as we continue to acquire, upgrade and expand networks. Shelby Broadband is a recognized industry leader in deploying fiber-to-the-home and hybrid fiber-wireless networks, and we are adding these robust capabilities to All Points’ arsenal for connecting the underserved.”

All Points’ Kentucky operations will be led by Regional Operations Manager DJ Anderson and an experienced team of other former Shelby Broadband employees.

“We have never been more optimistic about All Points’ trajectory,” said Mr. Carr. “Our ongoing LTE deployments put us on the cutting edge of fixed wireless technology, and with this acquisition we are adding a significant fiber-to-the-home capability, a great group of new team members, an opening a new platform for more acquisitions outside of our current footprint. We are on the forefront of delivering connectivity to underserved America and we love coming to work every day to do what we do.”
