Earlier today Tony Buffington, candidate for Board of Supervisors in the Blue Ridge District of Loudoun County, paid a visit to the All Points network operations center. Tony and the All Points Team discussed our mutual commitment to improving broadband access and the substantial investments All Points is making to upgrade Loudoun’s broadband infrastructure.
All Points Broadband wants to work with anyone who shares our goal of universal access to high quality broadband, and we appreciate that Tony contacted us to discuss how the public and private sectors can best work together here in Loudoun.

All Points Broadband, northern Virginia’s leading wireless Internet service provider, announced today that it will acquire Lucketts.net.
“We are excited to welcome Lucketts.net and its customers to the All Points network,” said Jimmy Carr, CEO of All Points Broadband. “Lucketts.net has been serving the local community for over 10 years, and we look forward to continuing their work by providing Loudoun County with new, higher speed Internet service.”
“We are pleased to be joining with All Points Broadband,” said Lucketts.net owner Steve Acup. “All Points has the technological talent and resources to build a state-of-the-art network that delivers broadband Internet to our rural areas.”
Lucketts.net customers will receive additional information regarding this transition over the next few weeks and do not need to take any action at this time. There will be no disruption of service and customers with Lucketts.net email addresses will have uninterrupted access to their accounts.
All Points Broadband and Lucketts.net expect to complete the transition at the end of May. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions.
Lucketts.net is the third Internet service provider that All Points Broadband has acquired in the last six months. All Points Broadband is on schedule to complete a multimillion dollar upgrade of the former Roadstar Internet and Loudoun Wireless networks by the end of this year.

All Points Broadband proudly supports the Woodgrove High School Odyssey of the Mind team.
Odyssey of the Mind is a creative competition for students from grade school through college. The teams work to design the best solution to a long-term problem, and they present their answers on the day of the competition using various theatrical and constructive methods.
Woodgrove High School in Purcellville recently won Virginia’s statewide competition, which qualified them to travel to the World Finals, held this year at Michigan State University on May 20-23.
The team is currently raising money so that they can make the trip and compete in this prestigious event. Information on their fundraising efforts can be found on the WHS Odyssey of the Mind Facebook page.
All Points Broadband values the creative and constructive skills taught by Odyssey of the Mind, so we are happy to offer our support in getting our local students to the World Finals.
We wish the team luck in both their fundraising and in the competition.
